Shamatha Meditation

As the heart of Buddhist practice, sitting meditation takes the understanding acquired through study beyond mere intellectual thought to connect to the heart of our being. While this is the core of everyone's individual practice, once a week the sangha has the opportunity to gather and practice in a common space, sharing the discipline of mindfulness and awareness.
