SIA will be hosting a group practice intensive (Drupchö) of the sublime practice of The Chimé Phakmé Nyingtik (Heart Essence of the Immortal and Noble Tara) at the Sydney Practice Centre. Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche greatly encourages us to practice together in this way. Intensive group practice increases merit and removes obstacles for oneself, the Sangha and the Teacher's activity.

The Chimé Phakmé Nyingtik is an extraordinarily blessed practice of White Tara that unites the Vajrayana deity yoga of three great vidyadharas of India – Shri Singha, Vimalamitra, and Guru Padmasambhava.

In order for us to practice the Dharma, we need a long life, and ultimately we need to realise the undying nature that is the real White Tara. The practice of Chimé Phakmé Nyingtik enables us to create these conditions.

Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo received this as a treasure teaching, and ever since it has been practiced and taught by masters like the Karmapa, the Dalai Lama, His Holiness Sakya Trizin, Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche and Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.

Our program will follow a non-residential retreat format. We will meet in the mornings and practice in sessions throughout each full day.
Due to the nature of the Drupcho single day attendance is not availabe; the practice commitment is either Saturday and Sunday or the whole program.
