Due to COVID restrictions we have had to cancel the face-to-face program that was scheduled to be held in Melbourne. The upside is that the Zoom format will enable participants from anywhere to participate.

Lojong: Cultivating Greatness of Mind

 

The practice of lojong is training the mind in kindness and compassion, and while it brings a radical shift in our being, this process is done with tenderness. An essential development on the path to enlightenment, it comes with clear and compassionate guidance from a long lineage of awakened masters.

Evening Talk: The Power of the Open Mind

 Friday 17 September 6.30 pm-8 pm (Sydney time - AEST)

Based on the Buddha’s own awakening, the countless skilful methods of his teaching all intend to uncover the truth, beauty and love innate to all living creatures.


Seminar: Langritangpa’s Eight Verses of Mind-Training

 Saturday 18 September 10 am-4 pm (Sydney time - AEST)

A great classic Mahayana instruction that has enabled countless generations of men and women to lay down the burden of self-centring and awaken to freedom.


Seminar: Nectar of the Mind – A Lojong Prayer by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo

 Sunday 19 September 10 am-4 pm (Sydney time - AEST)

A pithy aspiration written by Khyentse Wangpo, a great Tibetan bodhisattva from the 19th century, summarising and providing a beautiful overview of all mind training practices.
