The practice of lojong is training the mind in kindness and compassion, and while it brings a radical shift in our being, this process is done with tenderness. An essential development on the path to enlightenment, it comes with clear and compassionate guidance from a long lineage of awakened masters.

    The Power of the Open Mind:

Based on the Buddha's own awakening, the countless skillful methods of his teaching all intend to uncover the truty, beauty and love innate to all living creatures.

  • Saturday 30 October  Seminar: 10 am - 4 pm 
    Langritangpa's Eight Verses of Mind-Training

A great classic Mahayana instruction that has enabled countless generations of men and women to lay down the burden of self-centering and awaken to freedom

  • Sunday 31 October Seminar: 10 am - 4 pm
    Nectar of the Mind - A Lojong Prayer by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo

A pithy aspiration written by Khyentse Wangpo, a great Tibetan bodhisatta from the 19th century, summarising and providing a beautiful overview of all the mind training practices

    Jakob Leschly began his studies of Buddhism in 1974 and is a student of several great teachers, particularly Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche. Jakob has served Siddhartha’s Intent since 1993.

    Cost:
    - Evening talk: $20
    - Full day seminar: $95/day - Non members, $75/day - SI Australia financial members.
