Northern Rivers Vipashyana Retreat

28 September - 8 October 2017
See details below
Northern Rivers

    10 Days Thursday September 28 - Sunday, October 8

We are delighted to announce that the new occupants of Vajradhara Gonpa, an organisation called Living ARC, wish to repay the kindness of Rinpoche and once again have made a very generous offer to SIA for the opportunity to hold our next Vipashyana retreat there.

The practice of Buddhist meditation allows us to uncover and experience our natural heritage of wisdom though cultivating insight or vipashyana. It is to establish a peaceful space of presence and mindfulness, allowing us to awaken a calmer and wider appreciation of our reality. A retreat is an invaluable moment of clarifying and re-affirming our commitment to the vision and path of meditation. Jakob Leschly  will lead the retreat, offering general instruction and individual interviews.

DATE & TIME: The retreat starts 7pm on Thursday Sept 28 and finishes Sunday 8th after lunch at 12.30. Registration is from 2-5pm. We request everyone to be at the Gonpa by 5pm in order to settle in and set up camp before supper at 6pm.
