Buddhist Studies with Jakob Leschly

A series of 6 weekly one-hour study sessions on Thursdays at 6.30pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time - UTC/GMT +10 hours)

This work clarifies the key themes of the Buddhist path of awakening, particularly in terms of our personal practice of meditation, and how fusing our lives with meditation enables us to first understand and then liberate our thoughts, perceptions, and the way we believe and accept things. Thinley Norbu Rinpoche’s unique style of teaching and writing is permeated by warmth, poetic beauty and the brilliance of his realisation.

White Sail -Part 1 of Jakob's presentation will cover the first six chapters.

Part 2 ( November 3 to December 8) will cover the second half of the book.

How it Works
Students read the sections of the specific text prior to the online classes during which Jakob unpacks and summarises the text, using a live PowerPoint presentation which is visible on your computer. The online studies format enables anyone to participate regardless of location. Moreover, participants will have the option to download both audio and video recordings of the lesson if they can’t participate in real-time.

In the week following each presentation a link will be emailed to you, which will allow you to download a recording of each presentation. This means that if for any reason you aren’t available for a session, you can catch up at your leisure. In addition you can review any download session as often as you wish.

The text is available for purchase at the following online sites;

Upon registration a link and further information will be forwarded to you in regard to the practicalities of setting up your computer in preparation for the webinar.

COST: non-SIA members AUD$92, SI Austraila financial members AUD$70
