Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche - Australian Visit

Sydney, August 4 - 13 

We can announce with great pleasure that Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche will be offering empowerments and teachings in Sydney, Australia in August this year.

Registration online via the SIA website will be essential for all events. We will advise you as soon as registration is open.

        Teachings and Empowerments: Marrickville Town Hall

Empowerments: Chimé Pakmé Nyingtik (The Heart Essence of Deathless Ārya Tārā), Vimé Ladrub (The Guru Sādhana of Vimalamitra), and Korwa Dongdruk (He Who Churns the Depths of Saṃsāra). Teachings: Korwa Dongdruk and Bardo.

 

Sunday 6 August 10 am - 2.30 pm

Wednesday 9 August

Lotus Outreach Australia will be presenting a screening of Rinpoche's film as a fundraiser at Dendy Opera Quays cinema. Rinpoche will be present to speak about the film and say a few words about the charity he founded. Accommodation in Sydney
Sydney's CBD and Inner West areas are centrally located and offer easy access to both venues. Airbnb offers reasonably priced accommodation options in and around the city. The closest surrounding suburbs to Marrickville (for teaching weekends) are Newtown, Erskinville, Enmore, Petersham, Stanmore. The Public talk will be held in Randwick in the Eastern Suburbs. This venue is also close to Coogee and Bondi beaches. Its approximately 30 mins driving from Eastern Suburbs to the Marrickville venue.
