NEWS FLASH from 84,000 : Sutra Resounding!
Tuesday 29 May, SYDNEY
One of the four great annual commemorations of major events in the life of Buddha Shakyamuni, this particular day marks both his enlightenment and nirvana. The Buddha attained enlightenment at the age of 35 in what is now known as Bodh Gaya, and 45 years later he passed away on the same full moon day in Kushinagar.
We will be joining with Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche's sangha to practice the resounding of the Samadhiraj Sutra in its recent 84000 translation followed by the practice of the Buddha Sadhana The Treasury of Blessings. Everyone is welcome.

Bring: Offerings of fruit and flowers.
Time: 7pm start - setting up from 6:30pm
Place: SIA Sydney Practise Room. Unit 22/450 Elizabeth Str. Surry Hills.
Directions: 450 Elizabeth Str. is 5-10 minutes walk from Central Station - turn right from Devonshire Str onto Elizabeth Str (away from the city) toward Belvoir Street Theatre. It is near the corner of Elizabeth and Brumby Street. Entrance is via pressing the intercom for Unit 22. Once you have gone through the second door please take the lift to level one. Street parking can be found on side streets off to the right of Elizabeth Str or past Cleveland Str.
Cost: $5.00 donation towards Siddhartha's Intent Australia which will be used to support Rinpoche's activities in Australia.
